Simon Dillenburg

After finishing his studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen in early 2012, Simon was hired at the company Tim was already working for and became part of his hydrodynamic specialists team. Being mainly responsible for hydrodynamic analyses of all kinds, Simon also took over project management tasks.
In 2017, he joined a certification body in the offshore wind energy department where he was involved in various offshore wind projects with a focus on floating offshore wind turbines. With the certification body, he was introduced to wind turbine load calculations; an excellent addition to Simon's set of skills. In 2019, Simon and Tim founded the THEC Offshore GmbH now providing services for the global offshore industry.

Tim Habekost

Tim studied naval architecture at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). After his graduation in 2010, he joined an engineering consultant where he took over the lead of a small team of hydrodynamic specialists. Later, he also managed projects for a number of offshore and naval architectural projects.
In 2017, Tim founded THEC providing consultancy and engineering services for the maritime industry. First projects were the support of a ship owner changing flag state authorities and engineering support for lifting and transport jobs in the on-shore wind business. Beginning of 2018 he joined the offshore energy department of a certification body supporting the division for substation platforms and floating wind projects.
